The caravan is a week-long one-stop shop for Zamboangueรฑos who wanted to avail government services such as application of NBI and Police Clearance, TESDA Scholarship Package, health kits and medicines from DOH, DSWD’s Public Assistance Desk, and DTI’s IEC materials and Pangkabuhayan Program.

According to ZCPO Director PCOL Rexmel Reyes, the caravan is a way to provide convenience to people who wants to avail government services especially in this time of pandemic.

“This activity portrays a whole nation approach in informing the people on the accomplishments of the administration through the partnership with other agencies,” he said.

The week-long Barangayanihan Caravan in the city followed the initial launch last October 8, 2021 and the nationwide simultaneous kick-off held last September 30, 2021.

The caravan is also an initiative of the government to counter misinformation through sharing of accurate information of different government programs and projects.

ZCPO and other government agencies encouraged residents to participate in the Barangayanihan Caravan and make use of the opportunity to avail of the various government programs. (EDT/MLE/PIA9-Zamboanga City)
