ISABELA CITY, Basilan, May 30 (PIA) – In a statement posted in her personal facebook account, Isabela City Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman tells residents here to remain calm after two explosions rocked the city, Monday afternoon.

She stressed that Basilan has been peaceful for a long time and it can be seen in the fast growing economy of the area. She even called on people's cooperation to let everyone know that there is no threat that will hinder the development in the city and the entire province.
