ZAMBOANGA CITY, Oct 8 (PIA) – Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Secretary Martin Andanar shares the continuous efforts of the administration to fulfill the commitments of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte through the Duterte Legacy.

“We are fortunate we have a government that fulfills its promises to the people,” Sec. Andanar emphasized.

The Duterte Legacy highlights the accomplishments of the administration which include the fight on anti-illegal drugs, ending local communist armed conflict, anti-corruption drive, anti-red tape act and poverty reduction in the country.

PCOO reported that the percentage of poverty in the Philippines decreased from 24% to 13% before the pandemic.

Sec. Andanar also stressed aside from these commitments, there are also other accomplishments made such as the Build Build Build program where about 6.5 Million workers are given jobs and the implementation of Universal Health Care that helped 109 million Filipinos to have health insurance.

“It is important for the people to know about the Duterte Legacy so they will benefit from these new services and accomplishments of the administration,” Sec. Andanar added. (EDT/MLE/PIA9-Zamboanga City)
