Duterte Legacy campaign facts, not propaganda – PCOO Sec. Andanar

 By Dominic I. Sanchez

ZAMBOANGA CITY, Sept. 13 (PIA) – Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) chief Secretary Martin Andanar dispelled critics who said that the Duterte Legacy campaign is mere propaganda.

“All of these accomplishments are not invisible. They are backed by empirical evidence, and this is not politicking,” Secretary Andanar said during a live radio interview via 94.1 DXNH-FM Radyo Kasannangan in Bongao, Tawi-Tawi this morning (September 13).

The PCOO chief has been engaging with local radio and television stations in the provinces to disseminate the accomplishments of the administration through the Duterte Legacy campaign.

“We need to tell the Filipino public about these accomplishments so they will be aware of the new programs and services set forth by the Duterte administration,” he said.

Sec. Andanar underscored several programs including the Malasakit Centers which now offers a one-stop shop to assist medical bills, the numerous infrastructure projects many of which have already been completed, and the safer streets due to peace and order efforts.

“The people can feel these accomplishments. Passport validity is now 10 years. In six months, Boracay has been rehabilitated and look at it now. We have new military assets. The list goes on and on,” he added. He added the president has been maintaining a high rating due to these accomplishments, however what is important is that the people know about said accomplishments that will eventually benefit them even after the president steps down next year.

“This isn’t fake news. This is all real,” he said. (EDT/DIS/PIA9-Zamboanga City)
